As soon as you decide to tailor a suit, the first thing you have to do is choose a fabric to make that suit. Pick the colors, patterns, and add-ons the way you want them. The only limit is your imagination.

Before you begin, you will need a flexible / cloth measuring tape, and you'll need to get a friend to help with your precise measurements

You should be wearing a fitted shirt or T-shirt and emptying the pockets of your trousers. Do not wear loose clothes. When measuring the circumferences, keep the measuring tape horizontal. You should follow the instructions below as illustrated, using a relaxed but firm hand, you should not pull the tape measure tight. 

Perform each measurement three times for accuracy, and round all final measurements to the nearest centimeter. First, record your height (in cm) and weight (in kg), this can help us with overall sizing/checking your measurements.

Below is a list of the 16 essential measurements and a few bodybuild data points that we need to know. Take your time to read our tips first.

Measuring distance from one shoulder seam to the other.

Measuring from the shoulder pass the wrist to where you would like to the cuff to sit.
